Bronzeville Legends Initiative (2013-ongoing)

The purpose of the Bronzeville Legends Initiative, Chicago is to transform the community with public art installations that highlight its identity. This project currently consists of placemaking at Mariano's Grocery Store, an outdoor mural of singer and Bronzeville native Nat King Cole and a mural of author Lorraine Hansberry. A photo mural of Louis Armstrong was also created.
